Kissimmee/Hunter's Creek - March 16th, 2026
On March 16th, 2026 a severe thunderstorm with damaging winds and hail between .75 and 1.25” affected areas of Hunter's Creek and Kissimmee
Hail of this size does not always cause widespread roof damage, however roofs 10 years old or older are more susceptible to hail this size and many of the roofs have been affected
Homeowners with roofing systems around this age range should have their roof inspected.
Florida law limits homeowners in the time they have to file a claim. The reporting deadline for this Longwood hail storm is 3/16/2027.
Generally, documenting any applicable damage as close to the storm date is advisable as this would be considered an “all perils” event and hurricane/named storm deductibles do not apply.
